Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson is an estate planning and small business attorney admitted to practice in Virginia and Washington, D.C. With more than 30 years of experience, he advises individuals, families, and business owners on a broad range of legal matters, from wills and trusts to business formation and succession planning.

Earlier in his career, Chris worked extensively in international commercial law, supporting governments and institutions on matters including privatization, banking regulation, public-private partnerships, and commercial justice reform. That background informs a practice built on careful, experienced counsel across complex legal and business environments.

Chris is an active contributor to institutional governance through board service, including with Rochester Institute of Technology in Kosovo, the American Chambers of Commerce in Bulgaria and Kosovo, and the Fulbright Commission in Bulgaria.
