About Shibani

Shibani Shah is Senior Counsel at C&O Law Group, LLC, where her practice focuses on estate planning and commercial litigation. With more than five years in practice and deep roots in the Washington, D.C. region, she brings a client-centered approach to matters that often intersect with significant personal and financial decisions.

Ms. Shah began her legal career at Arnold & Porter LLP, one of the country's preeminent law firms, where she represented clients in complex business and civil litigation. That experience — handling high-stakes disputes with the rigor and precision of a major national firm — continues to inform how she approaches every client matter, whether drafting an estate plan or navigating a commercial dispute.

Ms. Shah earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2009 and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College. She was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 2010 and is a member of the DC Bar Association and the American Bar Association's Trusts and Estates and Business Law Sections. She speaks English and Gujarati.

Raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, Ms. Shah has spent her career serving the DMV community she grew up in. Her familiarity with the region's courts, culture, and client base gives her a grounded, practical perspective that clients find reassuring.
